EAPA is not a standard Microsoft course. You learn a practical methodology for finding friction, redesigning workflows, choosing the right Microsoft 365 tools, introducing AI and automation safely, and proving the value of the change you make.
Most Executive Assistants already use Outlook, Teams, Excel and other Microsoft tools every day. The problem is rarely access to another feature. The problem is that work is still fragmented across inboxes, chats, meetings, documents, spreadsheets and manual follow-up.
EAPA teaches you to step back from the individual task and redesign the workflow around it. You learn how to decide what should stay human, what should be structured, what can be automated and where AI genuinely helps.
The live sessions are only one part of the programme. You also receive a practical implementation environment designed to help you keep building between sessions and after the cohort ends.
277-page EAPA Implementation WorkbookA substantial working guide for audits, workflow design, Microsoft 365 decisions, AI guardrails, exercises, templates and practical implementation throughout the programme. |
Private EAPA Learning HubA dedicated Microsoft 365 environment bringing together learning resources, programme materials and useful references so you are not left hunting through emails and links. |
100+ workflow examplesExamples across real assistant work give you practical starting points to adapt rather than asking you to invent every workflow from scratch. |
Ask PaulA private chatbot grounded in Paul Pennant’s training handouts and EAPA resources, drawing on material developed across approximately 25 years of Microsoft productivity training. |
12 months of session recordingsRevisit sessions when you are ready to implement, catch up if work interrupts attendance, and return to the material as your role develops. |
Private cohort communityA dedicated space for cohort support, discussion, questions and continuing contact with Paul throughout the programme. |
The aim is not simply to know more about Microsoft 365. It is to make better decisions about how work should happen.
EAPA gives you a repeatable way to improve a workflow before deciding which technology to use.
The first five stages happen before Build. You learn to understand the work, identify friction, design the better workflow and consider governance before reaching for Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI or automation.
To graduate, you complete a practical project based on a real workplace workflow wherever possible. You identify the current friction, redesign how the work should happen, choose the right tools, consider governance and show the value created.
Your project should demonstrate:
If your organisation restricts what you can build or share, you can use a suitable programme scenario instead.
The sessions connect Microsoft 365 capabilities to real EA problems. The emphasis is on what the tool enables in a workflow, not on learning features in isolation.
All live sessions are on Mondays from 1:00pm to 4:30pm UK time.
| Session 1: 22 February | Session 2: 1 March | Session 3: 8 March |
| Session 4: 15 March | Session 5: 22 March | 29 March: consolidation break |
| Session 6: 5 April | Session 7: 12 April | Session 8: 19 April |
| Session 9: 26 April | 3 May: no session — UK bank holiday | Session 10: 10 May |
The break after the first five sessions gives you time to apply and consolidate what you have already built before moving into the second half of the programme.
Book by 30 November 2026 and save £250. The standard investment is £2,995 + VAT from 1 December 2026.

EAPA is designed to translate professional development into workplace application. The programme helps experienced assistants improve how work moves through Microsoft 365, reduce unnecessary manual handling, use AI and automation more deliberately, and create a practical workflow improvement that can be demonstrated back in the organisation.
Today’s PA is a CPD Standards Office accredited provider. Invoices and purchase-order arrangements can be discussed where required.
The two-page Employer Business Case summarises the workplace value, time commitment, programme inclusions, dates and investment so you can forward it internally.
EAPA is designed for experienced assistants and senior support professionals who already understand the pressure of the role and now want to improve the systems around it.
You do need to be willing to experiment, apply the learning to real work and think beyond individual features. This is not designed as passive software training.
EAPA treats AI as one part of the productivity system. You learn to consider what information should enter AI tools, how to challenge outputs, where human review must remain, and how organisational policies and permissions shape what is appropriate.
Paul Pennant is a Microsoft MVP in Microsoft 365 and Copilot, founder of Today’s PA and a former Executive Assistant.
He has spent more than 20 years helping assistants and office professionals use Microsoft technology more effectively, with a practical focus on the work people actually need to get done.
Today’s PA has trained professionals from thousands of organisations worldwide and has received repeated recognition for assistant training. EAPA brings that assistant-specific experience together with Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI, automation and workflow design.
No. The programme covers Copilot and AI, but the wider Productivity Architecture methodology and many Microsoft 365 workflows do not depend on having a Copilot licence.
That is part of the reality EAPA is designed for. You learn to work within organisational rules, permissions and approved tools, and you can use programme scenarios where a live workplace implementation is not possible.
Session recordings are available for 12 months, allowing you to catch up and revisit the material when you are ready to implement it.
Yes, if your goal is to connect those tools into better workflows. EAPA is not positioned as an introduction to Microsoft 365; the focus is on diagnosis, design, implementation and workplace application.
Yes. Speak to Paul about multiple delegates, employer requirements or a dedicated team delivery.
Successful participants who complete the programme requirements and Productivity Architecture Project receive the EAPA Grad designation.
The next EAPA cohort begins Monday 22 February 2027. Ten live half-day sessions take you from workflow diagnosis through Microsoft 365, AI and automation to one applied Productivity Architecture Project.
