Tips for Perfect Time Management

There are many routes into good time management.  PA training courses and workshops will give you a range of tricks and techniques you can use to minimise interruptions and help you delegate work if appropriate.  But training in Time Management will also show you how to manage yourself and avoid falling prey to the many time stealers out there.

A PA course – either focussed exclusively on Time Management or where it forms part of the wider course content – will offer you a number of fresh ideas that you can put into practice immediately.

Easy techniques include:

  • Setting time limits for tasks.
  • Making sure you understand instructions to avoid time-consuming delays.
  • Learning when you work best (are you a morning or afternoon person?).
  • Making your “To Do” lists the evening before.
  • Using Outlook ‘Tasks’ and ‘To Do’ lists to check progress and break projects into manageable chunks.

PA training will give you a wide range of techniques for you to choose from.  By practicing these and seeing which ones work best, you’ll soon start to regain control over your working day.
