PA training built for the modern assistant role

Personal Assistant work has changed. Organisation, communication, judgement and relationship management remain essential, but experienced assistants are increasingly expected to understand technology, improve processes and help senior leaders work more effectively.

Yet many PAs and EAs are still working inside systems that were never properly designed.

Actions buried across Outlook, Teams and meetings
Repetitive manual chasing and follow up
Files and information spread across different locations
Tasks copied manually between systems
Important information dependent on the assistant’s memory
AI available but no clear strategy for where it genuinely adds value

Move from managing work to improving how work happens

EAPA teaches you to understand the work, identify friction and design a better workflow before deciding which Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI or automation tools should support it.

What you will gain from this PA training

By the end of the programme, you will not simply know more about individual Microsoft applications. You will understand how to use Microsoft 365 as a connected productivity, communication and automation system.

Build clearer and more reliable assistant workflows
Reduce repetitive manual administration
Improve task visibility, ownership and follow through
Create better information flow around your executive
Use Copilot and AI more effectively and safely
Identify genuine opportunities for automation
Make better use of existing Microsoft 365 licences
Move from reactive support towards workflow leadership

CPD accredited PA training

CPD Standards Office accredited provider

Professional development with workplace relevance

Today’s PA is a CPD Standards Office accredited provider, providing additional professional development assurance for learners, managers and organisations.

This can help when positioning the programme with your executive, manager, HR or Learning & Development team where investment in PA training needs to demonstrate clear workplace relevance.

PA training where you build something real

Your Productivity Architecture Project

This is not a certificate for simply attending training.

To graduate, you complete a practical Productivity Architecture Project based on a real workplace workflow. You identify what is not working, redesign the process and demonstrate the improvement you have created.

Your project considers:

The existing process
The friction, duplication or risk
The redesigned workflow
The Microsoft tools supporting it
Where AI or automation genuinely adds value
Permissions, governance and human review
Time saved, risk reduced or value created

Graduate recognition

Successful participants are awarded the EAPA Grad designation, recognising completion of the Executive Assistant Productivity Architect Programme.

The Productivity Architecture Framework

EAPA gives you a repeatable eight stage framework for improving work before reaching for technology.

Discover
Map
Diagnose
Design
Govern
Build
Measure
Evolve

Design first. Technology second.

Discover, Map, Diagnose, Design and Govern happen before Build. You learn to understand the work and design the better process before deciding which technology should support it.

I just wanted to say what a fabulous time I had.  I learnt so much – I still can’t quite take it all in. The first thing I did when I got in the office was set up all my categories in Tasks/Outlook.  That has definitely changed my life!  Also it made me realise how much I do.  On the first day I used it I completed 13 tasks (so when at the end of the day you think, what did I actually do – I can just look at my task list and feel satisfied!). My next thing is to tackle the minutes for our weekly team meeting.  The assertiveness training is helping me here…. When I came home I felt like I was in a complete bubble – the social side of things was amazing too – I...
Thank you again for all your wonderful tips on Outlook and Tasks. I have now cleared down all my emails and have my emails and tasks bar side by side. I can’t tell you what a difference it makes to my productivity.
I just wanted to thank you for providing such a stimulating and thought-provoking course. I will certainly be implementing the tips and suggestions just as soon as I can. I returned to the office today with renewed vigour and cannot wait for the positive changes to start happening. You’re one smart cookie – keep doing what you’re doing, only good things can happen by taking the Today’s Pa training and I, for one, will spread the word!
“I attended the Today's PA two day course in April, and I can honestly say it was the best training course I have ever been on! Having worked first hand as a Personal Assistant, Paul is able to articulate the difficult situations that PA's can face in imaginative and inventive ways. Paper aeroplanes taught me about listening to instructions, and working with birds of prey helped the group understand the importance of confidence and trust. The support Paul and his team offers didn't stop there, with guidance available long after I'd left the classroom. Since I attended training with Indiquo, Pauls business has grown and now offers a wide range of courses, which I would recommend to anyone looking to develop their knowledge, skills, and themselves!”
Firstly, we signed up with Paul as we have trained with him before and truly benefit from his targeted and relevant training for us as assistants. Secondly, we had no idea about AI/Chat GPT, and I mean absolutely no idea.  We were mind blown within about 5 minutes of this course started (but in a really good way), and stayed totally engaged for the entire duration of the training – there is so much to learn, but Paul helped guide us through what would be useful for us to build into our working lives, and give us a good grounding in what is, and will be, a phenomenally fast growing area.  Everyone needs to learn this stuff.
