Working one-to-one with your Boss

orange twitterorange linkedinorange facebook

As a PA, working one-to-one with your boss is a fascinating, all-encompassing role.   You may have read stories of PAs who have worked with the same boss for many years, even moving from company to company alongside them. So how to do you get to that ideal situation where you find that synergy, where you and your boss work in complete harmony?

If you’re a newly-qualified or newly-promoted PA, new to the company or if you have a new boss, finding this can take a little time and effort on both sides.  A PA training course on working one-to-one will help you get up to speed quickly and easily, smoothing out any “bumps in the road” long before you reach them!

But even if you’ve worked with the same manager for a few years, you may feel that your working relationship isn’t as slick as it could be.  Attending a PA training workshop, aimed at refining and perfecting this partnership, will help you understand why (and when) things go awry.

PA training helps you understand your boss’s role and how this fits into the organisation.  It will also help you understand the constraints and difficulties of the role.  This will, in turn, give you a fresh perspective on your own role and how you contribute to the success of the business.
Greater understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities, as well as aligning your individual ways of working so they complement each other is the key to working successfully with your boss.

Five Power Automate Workflows Every EA Should Build First

Many Executive Assistants spend significant parts of their week repeating the same small tasks. Moving attachments into folders. Updating tracking lists. Sending reminder emails.
