In my experience, most senior level PA/EA roles involve taking notes – whether action points or full minutes. Cue rolling eye emoji from me when I see ‘minutes’ included in a job description, but that was until I joined Paul’s Minute Taking course which covers how to produce effective minutes.
Today’s PA sent a supporting pack well ahead of time and asked for an outline of what we wanted to achieve from the course. The session was delivered online and at a good pace with breaks as needed.
I can happily say, the rolling eye emoji is banished and I strongly recommend this course to anyone who may feel the same as I did.
