Personal Assistant Training In-house

In-house PA training – courses held in your offices for you and your colleagues – has many benefits, both for the delegates attending the courses and for the organisation.  However, some of these benefits may not be immediately obvious.

Large companies or organisations may have many different sites, perhaps scattered all over the same town or city.  Having your PA training onsite helps foster a sense of cohesion, a sort of “we’re all in it together” atmosphere.

Meeting face-to-face leads to increased co-operation with other PAs and EAs: you can start to put faces to names, find out about their managers and what’s happening in their department, the different issues and challenges they face.  You and your co-workers will also be learning the same things at the same time and can help and support each other on a day-to-day basis.

In-house PA courses can also become in-house PA networking.  It’s amazing how much you can learn from spending a little time talking to new (and established) colleagues in an informal training environment.
